A Seeker’s Revelation: Unveiling ‘The Two Gospels’
I AM NOT a theologian. I do not have a PhD in religious studies. I am not a pastor, priest, or rabbi. I am an ordinary person who wanted a better understanding of the Bible. Through reading the transcribed lessons of a man who spent over forty years studying and learning so that he could teach others, I have found answers to questions that I have had for years, even after attending church on a regular basis for most of my life and reading through the entire Bible. Through talking with others, I have found many people who have some of the same questions and misconceptions about the Bible who have not had the time or willingness to search for the answers. The purpose of this book is to provide a more concise description of the timeline of the Bible and the origin and history of God’s plan so that the reader’s knowledge and understanding will increase in a shorter amount of time.
The Unseen Divide: Decoding ‘The Two Gospels’
There is a major division in the Bible, and it is not between the Old Testament and the New Testament. It involves two distinct groups of people and how God has dealt with each of those groups throughout the history of mankind. Knowing which books of the Bible are addressed to which group will increase your understanding of how God’s plan has changed throughout the ages and your knowledge of what is relevant for today. Combining and comparing scriptures addressed to two different groups can cause confusion unless you know how those scriptures are divided. This book will lead you down the right path to learning how to divide His Word to gain a better understanding of how to study the Bible. This book is not an in-depth study of the Bible. It is a very basic framework to which more details can be added with further study of the Bible, but if you decide not to take your studies any further, it will provide all you need to know about God’s plan of salvation. If you do not read it all, at least read the section titled Salvation.
All Bible verses referenced in this book are from the King James Version of the Bible (KJV). For an easier to understand translation of the Bible, you can also refer to the New International Version (NIV).
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
